Jesus said …
“I’m like a gate. Anyone who enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out. And they will find plenty of food.”

He also said …
“I am the good shepherd. I know my sheep, and my sheep know me. I give them eternal life, and they will never die. No one will steal them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than anyone. No one can steal them out of my Father’s hand.”
(John 10:14,28-29 NIRV)
“I have told you these things, so that you can have peace because of me. In this world you will have trouble. But be encouraged! I have won the battle over the world.”
(John 16:33 NIRV)
But long ago, before Jesus came to us, God the Father declared His intent toward those that are His. God spoke through the Prophet Isaiah and declared the most beautiful words of encouragement and assurance.
He said…
“Do not be afraid. I will set you free. I will send for you by name. You belong to me. You will pass through deep waters. But I will be with you. You will pass through the rivers. But their waters will not sweep over you. You will walk through fire. But you will not be burned. The flames will not harm you. I am the Lord your God. I am the Holy One of Israel. I am the one who saves you…. You are priceless to me. I love you and honour you. Do not be afraid. I am with you.“
(Isaiah 43:1-5 NIRV)
So, whatever your circumstances… whatever your challenges…. whatever the life issues that’s causing you pain, put your hope and trust in Him who has promised to be your Shepherd, and to watch over you.
